Twelve wafers, all from Nestlé Venezuela. Four coconut, four chocolate, four strawberry under a chocolate shell. This is the pack without Pirucream in it, which keeps everything in single-serve wrappers and keeps hazelnut and egg out of the box entirely.

What you get

  • 4 Cocosette, 50 g each (1.76 oz), vanilla wafer with coconut cream, 8% grated coconut
  • 4 Susy, 50 g each (1.76 oz), vanilla wafer with chocolate cream, 8% cocoa powder
  • 4 Samba Fresa, 32 g each (1.13 oz), strawberry cream wafer covered in chocolate
  • 528 g total (1.16 lb), 12 individually wrapped pieces, all made by Nestlé Venezuela

Why people order it

  • Twelve separate pieces. One per lunchbox day, one per party bag, one per person at a table of twelve. Nothing has to be cut or served.
  • No hazelnut, no egg. This is the only one of our wafer packs without Pirucream, so it's the pick for a household that avoids tree nuts.
  • Three fillings, three formats. Coconut cream, chocolate cream, and a chocolate-coated strawberry bar.
  • All one manufacturer. Cocosette, Susy and Samba all come from Nestlé Venezuela, so the wafer itself is consistent across the pack.

Shipping

Free US shipping on orders $20+. Ships from Miami, and delivery time depends on the carrier. In warm months the chocolate coating on the Samba can soften in transit.

Allergens

Contains wheat, milk and soy.

  • Cocosette: wheat flour, sugar, vegetable fat, grated coconut (8%), milk, cocoa powder, soy lecithin, salt, artificial coconut and vanilla flavors, sodium bicarbonate.
  • Susy: wheat flour, sugar, vegetable fat, cocoa powder (8%), milk, soy lecithin, salt, artificial chocolate and vanilla flavors, sodium bicarbonate.
  • Samba Fresa: sugar, wheat flour, vegetable fat, cocoa butter (12%), milk, cocoa powder (5.4%), strawberry and ethylvanillin artificial flavors, soy lecithin, citric acid, salt, sodium bicarbonate and carmine red.

All three carry a precautionary statement for peanuts and tree nuts, so they're made on shared equipment even though none of them lists a nut as an ingredient. Formulas change between production runs, so read the wrapper you receive. If you have a severe allergy, this pack isn't a safe pick.

Frequently asked questions

Which Venezuelan wafer pack has no tree nuts in it?

This one. Cocosette, Susy and Samba Fresa list no nuts among their ingredients, and no egg either. Our other packs include Pirucream, which is made with hazelnut paste and dried eggs. All three wafers here still carry a "may contain" warning for peanuts and tree nuts from shared equipment.

What's the difference between Samba and Samba Fresa?

Same wafer bar and same chocolate coating; the filling changes. Samba Fresa is strawberry cream, and Nestlé Venezuela also makes a chocolate version and a hazelnut version. This pack carries the strawberry one, which is the one most people picture when they hear Samba.

Are these good for school lunchboxes?

The format works: twelve sealed single-serve wrappers, nothing to portion out. Check your school's policy first, because all three carry a "may contain peanuts and tree nuts" statement and many schools treat that as a nut item.

How many people does a 12-pack cover?

Twelve pieces gives one each to a class table or a small office, or lasts one person about two weeks as a daily snack. For a party of twenty, two packs.
